We've created this blog to journal God's goodness & mercy towards our family as our grandmother, Penny Brown, recovers from a triple by-pass surgery, and to keep friends and family updated on her progress.

Back on cardiac floor
Penny is back on the cardiac floor (5:00pm). She has walked 3 times today and eaten 3 small meals and still getting lots of rest. Her color is much better and her roseasa in her cheeks is even showing up.
Penny resting in the middle of her walk. A real sweet, caring and helpful
nurse technician.

God has been so faithful and good to our family during this time. We are so thankful for our friends in Christ who have been such an encouragment. We welcome comments, well wishes and scripture passages if the Lord leads you to share them. As Grammy is able, we will share them with her. Thank you!
On May 15, 2010, while traveling from Louisiana to New Brunswick to attend our Dad's surprise 50th birthday party, Grammy experienced heart problems and went to Eastern Maine Medical Center where she had a mild heart attack. On May 17, the doctors tried an angioplasty, but were unable to fix the problem that way and on May 18, Grammy had a triple by-pass surgery.
"And in that day shall ye say, Praise the Lord, call upon his name, declare his doings among the people, make mention that his name is exalted.
Sing unto the Lord; for he hath done excellent things: this is known in all the earth"

Lamentations 3:21-23
"This I recall to my mind, therefore have I hope. It is of the Lord's mercies that we are not consumed, becase his compassions fail not. They are new every morning: great is thy faithfulness."
